admissions testing "to do" list

  1. Read our brief " Guide for Admissions Test Preparation ".

  2. Know if the schools to which you are applying have any special requirements. Ask us for help if you are unsure!

  3. Make an appointment by calling our office, sending an e-mail request to [email protected] , or using our online scheduler. Please note that only Saturday appointments require payment in advance. Your credit card is NOT billed when you register. If you are unsure of the best time to do testing, or which clinician might be the best fit, please feel free to skip to step 4. We will review the form and get in touch with suggestions.

  4. Click here to go to the portal and complete the admissions testing information sheet. Please note that you will have the option to print a copy for your records. If you do not wish to submit this information electronically, you are also welcome to print and mail or fax.

  5.  Plan to arrive comfortably in time for your appointment so that your son or daughter may have a few minutes to get settled in our waiting area prior to testing. Please bring cash or check for payment.

  6. Testing appointments are conducted one-on-one with children. While we often invite families into the testing space to help get situated, caregivers are asked to remain in the waiting area or nearby downtown during test administration. Please note that within the building, there are multiple options. The first floor offers plentiful seating near the I street entrance as well as the Library Express and various eateries. Just a quick walk outside brings you to a cafe, bagel shop, and more...
