admissions testing "to do" list

  1. Read our brief " Guide for Admissions Test Preparation ".

  2. Know if the schools to which you are applying have any special requirements. Many schools discontinued outside testing requirements due to Covid-19. Please consult with their Admissions team to clarify expections and ask us for help if you are unsure!

  3. Make an appointment by calling our office or sending an e-mail request to [email protected] . Please note that we are only seeing returning families.

  4. There will be an intake form to complete to help us best prepare.

  5.  Plan to arrive comfortably in time for your appointment so that your son or daughter may have a few minutes to get settled in our waiting area prior to testing. Keep all food, drinks, toys, and fidgets with you in the waiting area. DO send them with glasses, comfortable clothing, etc.

  6. Testing appointments are conducted one-on-one with children. While we often invite families into the testing space to help get situated, caregivers are asked to remain in the waiting area or nearby downtown during test administration. Please note that within the building, there are multiple options. The first floor offers plentiful seating near the I street entrance and just a quick walk outside brings you to multiple coffee shops, bagel eatery, deli, and more...
